I just emailed my first Oxford essay to my tutor - all 2,293 words of it. Hopefully she'll think it's at least decent. I guess I'll find out on Friday...

Wow, you finished that fast, how many pages is 2293 words?

About 5, but that's 1.5 spaced and on size A4 paper (they don't use US Letter here, A4 is longer but not quite legal) and I used a bit smaller font. Normally in the US it would be about 8 or so I'd imagine.
